My first impression of the place destined to become Villa Del Sol was one of awe.
Cape San Blas is a one-of-a-kind setting, and from my first glimpse of this land, stretching between the gulf and the bay, I understood that it is special. Ordinary development would not be acceptable for this very extraordinary place. Beginning with my first view of this land, I began to develop a vision for it. Taking its inspiration from the turn-of-the-twentieth century resort traditions found in towns like Palm Beach and Boca Raton, it is a vision of elegance and style, worthy of the beauty of Cape San Blas, and on par with the best of "old" Florida.
